This Sunday we have Communion by Extension with Hazel at 9.15am.
This sounds complicated but means, as we no longer have a vicar, the bread and wine is consecrated (made holy), by Cathy at 8:00am communion service and Hazel does a slightly different version of the usual service for us at 9.15am (she did this while Camilla was on sick leave during the summer).
Don’t forget to pick up your boxes for Operation Christmas Child from the back of the church. They need to be in by sun 4th November.
Our All Souls service is 4:00pm Sunday 4th November. If any of you can bake a cake for tea after the service, it would be much appreciated. Please let Joanna or the office know.
We also need a couple of able bodied people to help light the candles during the service. Alexandra (12) helped last year and truly enjoyed it. In remembrance of those who have died, as several of us that have helped over the years now have dodgy knees!
Please let me or Hazel know. Thank you!
If you haven’t let Daphne know your feelings about St Michael’s. Tell Daphne your story. What made you come to St Michael’s and what do you like about it ?
Please let her know (email@example.com) as soon as possible, so we can start the rather slow process of advertising for a new vicar.
I hope you all have a refreshing and fun filled half term!
Doesn’t the car park look fabulous ! Contributions can still be sent into the Church Office or made online https://www.goldengiving.com/wall/st-michael-and-all-angels-church
This website does not take any fees and claims Gift Aid for us. Win win !
