This Sunday we have our Early Birds Service at 9:15am in the Hall. Ruth is doing the story for the 1st time, please come and support her. It is lovely to have mums reading the story – if any of you would like to have a go at this,please let me know.
At 4:00pm this Sunday we have our All Souls service, you are all welcome to come and remember those you loved who are no longer with us. There will be tea in the church afterwards.
Sunday is the date for bringing in your boxes for Operation Christmas Child, Christine will kindly be taking the boxes to the collection site.
The following Sunday 11th November is the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, when WW1 ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. there is no 9:15 or 10:30 service at St. Michael’s, as there will be the usual ceremony at the War Memorial, followed by a service in St. Mary’s.
There will be Messy Church at 4:00pm as usual. Margaret and Kerry are not there, so Daphne and Zoe would be VERY grateful if any one could help taking a table or helping in the kitchen. Please let them, Kristel or myself know if you can.
