This Sunday is the feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday of the Christian year and we have our Praise Service at 9.15am. Peter and I are taking the service, so please come and support us.
There will be no Early Birds next Sunday as it is Advent Sunday and we have our Christingle service at 4pm in the afternoon, when we all bring back our candle money boxes, full of money to support the Children’s Society, which helps kids less fortunate than ours.
We all receive Christingles, which are lit in the darkened church to represent Jesus the light of the world.
Afterwards we have party tea in the Hall. This year we won’t need to dodge puddles along our new Church Path. Please bring a plate of food (that your children like) to share. If we all do this, we have a great feast and no-one has the stress of making all the food!
We will have our Christmas Hampers on display. The raffle, which will be drawn after the 4pm Carol Service on Dec 16th. So don’t forget to bring some money to buy tickets!
Messy Christmas will be at 4pm on 9th December, when the children will decorate the Christmas tree in the church.
